A new House in Seamill needs a new garden!
I enjoy these projects very much..
The design brief required a low maintenance garden with planting interest throughout the year.. During the survey stage I assessed the need for a ‘morning’ patio and an ‘afternoon/evening’ patio given the orientation of the garden. As is the nature of a new development, the houses are built in close proximity to each other so the need for subtle screening, without blocking light is required.
Drainage is an ever-present issue with a new development. This has been addressed. There isno lawn in the new design... lots of planting pockets, warm toned gravel and seating areas to take advantage of the sunshine.
