The new garden has a double path of Crannoch ice gravel flanked by two deep borders planted with a mix of shrubs and trees
We transplanted some of our client's Buxus balls from pots into the bed.
Lovely Hydrangea providing colour. This is one of the few shrubs which remained in the garden.
Existing planting included a lovely hydrangea and lots of Bergenia which is such a useful edging plant
Many of the herbaceous perennials were saved. I split them and washed the roots ready for replanting
Such a small lawn is providing too much work for it's size. It doesn't contribute to the garden
Much of the old paving has been taken out and replaced with hardcore and gravel.
All of the groundworks completed by lunchtime!
The hard landscaping which consists of Crannoch Ice gravel contained within a simple flat top edging is complete. Ready for planting now.
